About the Morgan Chronicles

First of all, you're probably wondering, "Josie, how long are the Chronicles?" Good question. A question for which I have no answer. I'd love to say "Three books! The Morgan Chronicles is a trilogy!" That would be great, because it would mean that I'm almost done, just one more book to write. But I have my doubts. I've finished two books, and I think I'm only about halfway done with the story I have to tell, so it's unlikely I'll finish wrapping everything up in one more book. Four is more likely, and five isn't out of the question. Sorry I can't be more specific.

So you've finished two books? What are they about? Well, book one is titled To the Shore, and it's about trying to go from here to there. The main characters are running from, they are escaping, they are getting away. It is true they have a specific destination in mind (the shore, hence the title), but their main objective is to not get caught.

In the second book, after they've reached the shore (you knew they would, didn't you?), they board a ship and commence a voyage around the globe because it's the fastest and safest way to get back to where they came from. Of course, that doesn't mean it's very safe... for that would be a dull book indeed. For all the physical dangers they encounter, this is very much a voyage of self-discovery for many of the characters.

"Yes, and then what?" I hear you cry. Well, that's the part where you have to wait and see, now isn't it?

"So how can I get my hands on these first two books?" All in good time, my friends, all in good time. Neither has been published yet, but do not despair! Publication is on its way, and book one is scheduled to be released before another year has passed.
